New York - The journalist Emilio Buttaro, who has been committed to Italians living abroad for years, was awarded the "AIAE New York Journalism Award" in recent days. The prestigious international recognition was presented during the annual ceremony of the Association of Italian American Educators, an organization founded in 1997 dedicated to promoting the Italian language and culture. The event was held in the elegant halls of the Consulate General of Italy in New York. Emilio Buttaro was awarded for his journalistic commitment dedicated to Italians abroad, and the other awards were given to prominent personalities in the fields of medicine, culture, fashion, and other professions. The event was well organized by the AIAE and its president Josephine Maietta, tireless promoter of Italian tradition in the United States.
