Los Angeles - The Ferrucci Institute for Italian Experience and Research has been established at Chapman University in Los Angeles to promote the development of courses on Italy that engage various departments of the university and local schools, with a focus on interdisciplinary academic and creative activities. The Consulate General in Los Angeles has expressed its readiness to collaborate with the new Institute. This announcement was made during the "Theater and Culture: An Italian Perspective" event, organized by Professor Federico Pacchioni and the Italian Department of the university. The event featured an overview of the impact of Italian theatrical culture, spanning different periods, styles, and genres, and was attended by Consul General Raffaella Valentini.
