LONDON - The "Studenti unITi" initiative was presented yesterday at the Consulate General in London, a support program for Italian university students in the United Kingdom managed by United Italian Societies (UIS), an organization founded a year ago with the aim of strengthening the coordination between the various Italian Societies scattered throughout the territory and the collaboration with the Italian institutions.
The initiative aims to facilitate as much as possible the training experience of the vast number of Italian men and women who attend Universities in the United Kingdom, through assistance that ranges from visas for entry to the recognition in Italy of British degree.
Consuls De Angelis and Solinas, present at the launch of the initiative which was attended by about 30 members of the Italian Societies, underlined how the Consulate General has made itself available to collaborate with UIS. In the event of complex situations in the consular area that concern the individual or problems that are of interest to the entire category of Italian university students, UIS can submit them to the Consulate General, which will undertake to provide assistance and support quickly.
The "Studenti unITi" initiative, entirely managed by young Italian male and female students, will thus provide constant and rapid support to students in coordination with the Consular Office in London. Interested university students can contact UIS using a form on their website or by writing to the email: info@uniteditaliansocieties.com.
