NEW YORK - On 3rd of March compatriots registered with AIRE and residing in the State of New Jersey (counties of Bergen, Hudson, Morris, Passaic, Sussex, Union, Warren, Essex, Middlesex, Monmouth, Hunterdon, Mercer, Somerset) from 9:00 will be able to present the request for the issuance of the passport by appointment at the premises of Ravello Banquets (138 Eagle Rock Avenue) in East Hanover.
The Consulate General in New York gave the news, specifying that interested parties could request an appointment by writing to newyork.missioni@esteri.it by the 28th of February, attaching the request form and a copy of their previous passport (if in one).
The compatriots will receive an email confirming the appointment, which will indicate the time to show up at Ravello Banquets.
On March the 3rd, those who have not received this confirmation email will not be admitted. If it is not possible to satisfy all the requests, priority will be given to compatriots over the age of 75 and to those who give reasons for the difficulty of going to the Consulate General in New York directly in the appointment request email.
The delivery of the passport will then take place by priority mail to the address indicated by the compatriot, who must present all the required documentation on the day of the appointment.
