USA - ExportUSA and the Italian-American Chamber of Commerce of New York are launching the second edition of "America Buys Italian" to facilitate personalized meetings between CEOs and executives of independent US supermarket chains and the Italian agri-food and wine industry. The event will take place from October 3 to 5, 2023 at Villa Fenaroli in Brescia. Unlike the first event in 2022, which had 5 participating chains, the 2023 edition will double that number to 10. The event will provide an opportunity for Italian companies to showcase their products to independent and niche retailers, resulting in significant cost and time savings for the Italian businesses. The event will feature 30-minute speed-dating style meetings for each product area and chain, resulting in over 600 appointments. Long-shelf life and perishable goods, wine, beer, spirits, and dairy products will be the main focus of the event.
