They share their histories, travels, aspirations, and endeavors. They do this by using their skill and the global language of music, which aids in breaking through barriers and biases. In Procida, fourteen musicians from seven countries and three continents are forming a multiethnic band. These musicians were recruited via a nationwide call issued by the Reception and Integration System for political refugees and asylum seekers. An artistic residency project that has already resulted in the creation of several original and unpublished songs, whose titles - from "Amih" to "Why you had to leave" - already summarize the personal life stories of the project's participants, who have chosen to entrust to the cathartic power of music even the most painful stages of departure from their respective countries and landing, frequently after arduous journeys, on the Italian coasts.
