"With the help of a camera, we assessed compliance with speed limits, swinging wide and compliance with safety distances on over 22 lanes monitored in 6 locations in Italy. Over 357 thousand passages were detected, in 9.6% of cases with the speed limit exceeded; in 77.7% of cases distancing was not respected and in 55.2% of cases the lane was invaded". Among the behaviors to avoid while driving, there are 10.3% of Italians who make improper use of their mobile phones and 11.4% who do not even wear a seat belt.
