This time, the Roman band received the American Music Award for Favorite Rock Song for their version of "Beggin'."On the stage of the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, the crowd cheered enthusiastically when Maneskin took the stage in their trademark jacket, tie, shorts, and garters ensemble. "This prize has double significance for us Italians, - remarked leader Damiano David - since no one could have predicted that one day they would be seated with the finest musicians in the world. We're still trying to get our heads around the magnitude of this prize." Alongside Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Imagine Dragons, and Kate Bush, the band was nominated for Favorite Rock Song.
